Is an AI assistant for tracking income and expenses safe, and where does my data go?

What goes to the assistant?

• Your messages in this session: the last 12, each at most 500 characters.
• Your recording, to be transcribed: 16 kHz mono, at most 30 seconds.
• Your accounts' names, currencies and types; the names of your expense and income categories; today's date and your main currency.
• A habit summary: things you entered at least twice in the last 90 days, with their name, latest amount, how many times and the latest date; at most 40.

What doesn't?

Your account balances, card debt, items, people and the full list of your transactions are not sent to the model. Neither are your name and email address. Even when you ask about card debt the model doesn't see the figures: it recognises a debt question, and the app calculates and writes the answer itself. The card debt guide explains this.

What is stored?

The chat is not stored on the server. Messages live only in the open page and are gone when you reload or close it. Wiozen Ledger doesn't keep the audio file either.

The only thing stored is an entry you pressed Save on. It goes into your ledger like an entry from the form; each user's ledger is a separate database file. A daily counter is also kept: it counts how many messages you used, not what they said.

Transcription and the model's answer are processed by providers outside Türkiye. We don't sell your records, and we don't use them for ads or to train AI models. The legal details are in the Assistant section of the privacy notice.

What can the assistant do in your ledger?

The model can't write to your ledger directly. All it can produce is a proposed income, expense or transfer. The app checks each proposal against your own list of accounts and categories, and a proposal naming an account or category that isn't there is never shown to you. Valid ones appear as cards, and when you press Save the entry goes through the same path and the same plan limits as the form.

Editing or deleting existing entries, installments, split expenses, tags, items and people are not available in the assistant. If you put an instruction like “ignore your rules” inside your message, the assistant disregards it and talks only about your records.

Do you have to use the assistant?

No. Every entry can go in through the New entry form; if you never open the assistant, nothing is sent to the Wiozen API. The assistant is there to make small, frequent expenses quicker to enter: coffee, groceries, gas, a taxi. The voice entry guide shows how recording works.

Which plan has it?

The assistant is on both plans. The free plan has 10 assistant messages a day, 1 account and 30 records a month, with no transfers between accounts and no credit card accounts. Pro has 100 a day and every section open. Each message counts once; in a voice message, turning your voice into text counts once more. Every new account gets 14 days of Pro without a card; after that Pro is $12.99 a year or $1.99 a month in Türkiye and $39.99 a year or $6.99 a month elsewhere. Details are on the pricing page.
