Privacy notice

Who this is from

Wiozen Ledger is run by Wiozen. Company and seller details are on the seller details on the Wiozen account and are not repeated here.

This notice follows the Turkish data protection law (KVKK) and, for people in the European Union and the United Kingdom, the GDPR and the UK GDPR. All of it is in this one document.

What we keep

  • From your Wiozen account: your Wiozen user ID, email address, name and language, received when you sign in.
  • What you enter: accounts, entries, categories, notes, items, people and settings. It sits in your own database file, apart from other users.
  • Payments: your plan and its dates, and for each payment the amount, the date and the transaction number. Also the time and IP address of your confirmation that Pro starts right away.
  • Technical records: sign-in sessions and server logs, kept for security and for finding faults. They do not contain what you entered.
  • A summary for the Wiozen account: your plan, its status and end date, your last sign-in, the number of your accounts and the moment you joined, so Wiozen support can help you. It has no amounts, names or entries.

What we don't do

  • We do not connect to your bank or card; Wiozen Ledger only keeps the records you enter by hand.
  • We do not sell or rent your records, and we do not use them for advertising, profiling or training AI models.
  • The connection between your browser and our server is encrypted with HTTPS. Backups are stored encrypted.

People you add

The People section can hold other people's phone numbers, email addresses, bank details and addresses. That is your personal notebook. We store it for you and do nothing else with it: no ads, no sharing, no analysis. You decide what to enter about others, so enter only what you may keep.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • Running your ledger and your account: contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5/2(c)).
  • Taking payments and keeping payment records: contract and legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c); KVKK Art. 5/2(c) and (ç)).
  • Emails about renewals and payments: contract.
  • Security, finding faults and the summary for the Wiozen account: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5/2(f)).

Where it is kept

Our server is in Türkiye. If you use Wiozen Ledger from the European Union or the United Kingdom, your data is therefore transferred to Türkiye, which has no adequacy decision from the European Union. The transfer is limited to what is needed to provide the service; to learn about the safeguards in place, write to us on the support page.

How long we keep it

  • Your ledger: until you delete it. Deleting your account in Settings removes your database file and your sign-in sessions at once.
  • Backups: a copy of your ledger is in our backups. After you delete your account it leaves the backups with the backup cycle, in at most 35 days. Until then nobody uses it and it is not restored into an account.
  • Payment records: 10 years, because of tax and commercial record rules. Only your Wiozen user ID, the amount, the date and the transaction number are kept, not your ledger.
  • Inactive accounts: if you do not sign in for 12 months, we email you 30 days before deleting your ledger (when your address still works), and then delete it. You can export it before that.
  • If you delete your Wiozen account, the Wiozen account tells Wiozen Ledger and your ledger is deleted too.

Your rights

You can export all your data as JSON or CSV in Settings, on every plan, at any time. You can correct anything in the app and delete your account in Settings.

Under the GDPR and the KVKK you also have the right to ask what we hold about you, to object to its use, to have it restricted, and to complain to the supervisory authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Board). To use a right, write to support. We answer within 30 days.

Cookies

Wiozen Ledger sets only the cookies it needs. They are listed in Cookies.
